Menatapku diam

Tak terucap satu kata

Mataharipun telah tenggelam

Membosan menatapku

Menjauh pergi tak berangan

Marah terisak

Mendesak keluar

Tapi jari ini terkunci sesak

Ingin ku keluar

Dari sekujur jeruji besi tersesak

Sedih memang kurasakan

Kini hari telah gelap

Sinar mathari telah redup

Tak ada kata gemilang menghampiri

Tuhan pasti memafkan

Maluku sesali mentap tuhan

Menghadap sang pencipta alam

Keaggungannya sangat sempurna

kereta Senja

kini cahaya suram

berlumur petang tiba

hembusan angin senja

mulai menusuk sumsum tulang

kicau jangkrik berdegung kencang datang

Suara gemuruh t’lah bergetar

Di sini si tapak rel tua kuberdiri

Menyaksikan kereta senja

Lembayung menggetarkan garisan panjang

Berpetak karat

Tidak ada satu kata keluar

Dari bibirku yang mulai berkerak

Lautku dalam biru taduh

Berkilau bagaikan permatamu

Yang pecah dimataku

Hidup bagai impian sorgawi luas tak bertepi

Ku ingin Tangerang

Bersih dan asri laksana

Embun penyejuk hati
